GGNIMT organises Cleanliness Drive & Drugs De-Addiction Seminar at Threeke
The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines, Ludhiana organized a Cleanliness Drive and Drugs De-Addiction Seminar at Threeke, a village adopted by NSS-RRC. This activity was organised in association with Govt. Senior Secondary School, Threeke.

Ludhiana, October 4, 2025: The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines, Ludhiana organized a Cleanliness Drive and Drugs De-Addiction Seminar at Threeke, a village adopted by NSS-RRC. This activity was organised in association with Govt. Senior Secondary School, Threeke.
More than 50 students participated in the initiative by organizing a rally on drug addiction awareness and cleanliness, spreading the message for a healthier and responsive lifestyle. NSS volunteers also undertook a cleaning at the school and its neighborhood. They also encouraged the local community to adopt hygienic practices and also avoid dumping waste in the open.
Prof. Jagmeet Singh (NSS Coordinator) highlighted the importance of cleanliness and the harmful effects of drug addiction. Through an emotional real-life story of a drug addict, he inspired the students to stay away from substance abuse and also contribute towards a cleaner environment.
Prof. Honey Chawla, also delivered an impactful talk on food wastage, urging the school students to practice mindful consumption and adopt sustainable habits in consumption of food and usage of disposable crockery and cutlery. Threeke School Principal Satwinder Singh, expressed his gratitude to the NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of GGNIMT, Civil Lines, Ludhiana for organizing such a meaningful and impactful program.
Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra (Director, GGNIMT) congratulated the NSS team for their commitment and dedication towards promoting social responsibility initiatives. Dr. Harpreet Singh (Principal, GGNIMT) appreciated the efforts of the volunteers and encouraged them to contributing effectively to the concerns of society.
