GGNIMT Hosts "Summer Delight" -A Hospitality Workshop For Plus Two Students
Department of Hotel Management, Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT) Ghumar Mandi, organised a Hospitality workshop " Summer Delight" for 10+2 pass-out students with the objective of enhancing their professional skills and technical knowledge about the hospitality sector.

Ludhiana, July 11, 2025: Department of Hotel Management, Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT) Ghumar Mandi, organised a Hospitality workshop " Summer Delight" for 10+2 pass-out students with the objective of enhancing their professional skills and technical knowledge about the hospitality sector.
The workshop was covered two themes “The Art of Bed making and Towel Art” & #Kebab Platter ". The workshop aimed to develop skills in House Keeping and Culinary Art for those who want to pursue a career in the hospitality sector.
The event was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Harpreet Singh, who encouraged the students to embrace continuous learning and skill development. Dr. Parvinder Singh, Coordinator, Placements GGNIMT highlighted the job prospects for hospitality students. Prof. Shantimani Sathwara, Head, Department of Hotel Management welcomed the students and made them aware about the skills sets for a successful hospitality professional.
Astt. Prof. Smyle Dumra, coordinated the workshop related to the Art of professional Bed making and Towel Art used by the Hotels. Chef Kirti Puri conducted the workshop Kebab Platter by demonstrating to the students the skill of making different types of Kebabs Hara Bhara Kebab and Dahi ke Kebabs. The workshop concluded with a valedictory address by Director Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra. He appreciated the efforts put in by the faculty for organizing such an impactful and well-structured program. He also advised the students to pursue experiential learning for skill development and success in the hospitality sector. The event received enthusiastic participation from the students and positive feedback, reflecting the growing demand for skill-based learning among young aspirants.
