GCG Ludhiana organised cleanliness drive for swachh bharat

Ludhiana: As part of swachhta pakhwada (01 Dec-15 Dec), a fortnight initiative to carry on the agenda of swachh Bharat mission, a plethora of activities aimed at promoting cleanliness, were carried out by cadets of 3PB(G)BN of NCC wing of GCG, Ludhiana. Intensive cleaning of the college campus and a historical monument located at Rakh Bagh on 10th December was a significant part of the event. An online poster making competition and an online essay writing competition to create awareness about the swachhta campaign were also conducted.

Enthused with the success of Pakhwada, officiating Principal, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur suggested that such activities must be carried out periodically to sustain the momentum of the Swachh Bharat campaign. The entire event was organized under the aegis of the officiating Principal Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, Dr. Sukhwinder Kaur, Mrs. Kirpal Kaur, Mrs. Sarita, Ms. Jasdeep Kaur and Ms. Sudeev Grewal (NCC Incharges).
