Having participated in over 200 fashion shows, ramp walks, fashion weeks, and numerous modelling events, Preet is all set to begin her new innings as an actress on the big screen. Initially, her family was hesitant about her becoming an actress. However, when she secured a place among the top five models and her name and photographs appeared in leading publications like The Times of India, their faith in her talent grew stronger.

When it comes to acting inspiration, Preet Dutta deeply admires actress Sushmita Sen. She is a fan of filmmakers such as Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Anurag Basu, Imtiaz Ali, Karan Johar, and Aditya Dhar, and dreams of working in their films someday. She is particularly drawn to strong roles with grey shades. Priyanka Chopra’s performance in Mary Kom and Kangana Ranaut’s powerful portrayal in Fashion have left a lasting impact on her. Preet believes that if given similarly challenging roles, she can bring them alive on screen with her own depth, strength, and individuality.
