Former CM Hooda alleges BJP of forming the government in Haryana by stealing votes

Rohtak, December 8, 2025: Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that the BJP's rigging of elections has now become public knowledge as everyone knows that the BJP formed the government by rigging the votes.

“Rahul Gandhi has presented concrete evidence of this. The daily increase in the vote percentage after voting in Haryana also points to election rigging,” he said.

Talking to media persons in Rohtak, Hooda said that after the Haryana poll results, the Congress had asked several questions to the Election Commission. “For example, on the night of the 5th, the Commission stated that 61.19% voting had taken place in Haryana. But the next day it was increased to 65.65%, and on the 7th, a day before the counting, it was increased to 67.9%,” he said.

“The vote percentage kept increasing every day after the voting. The Election Commission should explain how the votes kept increasing so much overnight, but the Election Commission has not given an answer to this to date,” he pointed out.

“This clearly shows that the Commission is not doing its job impartially and is colluding with the government to harm democracy. The Congress is going to hold a big rally in Delhi on the 14th against this. The Congress demands that when major developed countries are holding elections with ballot papers, India should also do the same, because no one can deny the possibility of tampering with EVMs,” he said.

“This time too, everyone saw that the Congress was winning the election in the counting of postal ballots, but lost in the counting of EVMs. The results of the last 5 elections show that the party that wins in the ballot counting is the one that wins the election,” he said.

Reacting to the SIR issue in Haryana, Hooda said that Congress workers and booth-level agents will work vigilantly to prevent any kind of rigging in the voter list. He said the public has understood the BJP's mindset and their election rigging tactics, and are now openly raising their voices against it.
