Ludhiana, October 19, 2026: In accordance with the initiative of the Department of Financial Services, Government of India, the Financial Inclusion Saturation Campaign will be conducted from 21 October to 31 December 2026 with the objective of ensuring the saturation of eligible beneficiaries under various financial inclusion and social security schemes.
Under the campaign, special financial inclusion camps will be organised across all villages and Gram Panchayats, as well as Urban Local Bodies and Nagar Councils in Ludhiana district, to facilitate access to essential banking services and ensure that eligible citizens are covered under various government-sponsored schemes.

Other key activities will include Aadhaar seeding in eligible accounts under PMJJBY and PMSBY, sourcing of applications under the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) and re-KYC of existing Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) and other savings accounts.
The campaign will also focus on generating Central KYC (C-KYC) IDs wherever pending, converting inoperative PMJDY accounts into operative accounts, updating nominations in bank accounts and facilitating applications for the settlement of unclaimed deposits. Financial awareness sessions will also be conducted to educate citizens about banking services, social security schemes and the importance of maintaining active bank accounts.
The Lead Bank Office, Ludhiana, will coordinate with participating banks and concerned authorities to ensure effective implementation of the campaign throughout the district. All participating banks will be encouraged to extend their cooperation and ensure that eligible beneficiaries are identified and provided with the necessary assistance during the camps.
Citizens are encouraged to participate in the special camps and avail themselves of the applicable financial services. Through this initiative, the campaign aims to strengthen financial security, expand the reach of formal banking services and promote financial empowerment among all sections of society.
