Ludhiana, July 6, 2026: The delegation of the Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization (FICO), led by Gurmeet Singh Kular, President, FICO, along with Rajesh Seth, Leader of the Delegation, has successfully returned to India after an extensive visit to Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Italy.
The delegation participated in EUROBIKE 2026, the world's premier bicycle exhibition, where it held meetings with leading bicycle manufacturers, technology providers, industry associations, and business leaders from across Europe. The visit provided valuable insights into the latest advancements in bicycle manufacturing, sustainable mobility, innovation, automation, and international quality standards. The delegation visited the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility of Holland Mechanics B.V., a world leader in bicycle wheel-building machinery and bicycle assembly solutions. Members observed modern automated production systems, precision engineering, and innovative manufacturing processes that have set global benchmarks in the bicycle industry.
Speaking on the occasion, Gurmeet Singh Kular, President, FICO, said that the visit reaffirmed the immense potential of the Indian bicycle industry in the global market. He emphasized that Europe is keen to build stronger partnerships with Indian manufacturers, and FICO will continue to facilitate collaborations that promote innovation, modernization, and sustainable growth.
