A seven-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Audio-visual methods in research: Locating theory in practice has started in Department of Anthropology in collaboration with Human Resource Development Center (HRDC), Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, April 26, 2022: A seven-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Audio-visual methods in research: Locating theory in practice has started in Department of Anthropology in collaboration with Human Resource Development Center (HRDC), Panjab University, Chandigarh under the aegis of Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA). Faculty members from different parts of the country participated in this programme. Dr. Jayanti Dutta, Deputy director, HRDC was the Chief Guest of the programme. She said that this FDP will provide a forum to the participants to exchange views, ideas and latest approaches in the audio-visual methods of research. Besides, the participants will learn the basics, emerging trends and challenges that are associated with audio-visual methods in research. Dr. Maninder Kaur, Chairperson, Department of Anthropology is the course Coordinator. She explained that this programme aims at improving faculty’s ability in carrying out teaching/research in contemporary setting. Prof. A.K. Sinha is the course Co- coordinator of this programme.
