Ludhiana, June 19, 2026: Fashion Design Department of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Ghumar Mandi, Ludhiana organized a 2 days Summer Camp on Fashion Skills for Beginners. This Summer Camp was designed to introduce aspiring designers and creative enthusiasts about the fundamentals of fashion craft and techniques in an engaging and hands-on environment.
During the camp, participants explored varied textile and surface ornamentation techniques, including Printing and Painting. The format for Summer Camp was practical demonstrations and guided activities. Students experienced the sheer joy of transforming simple materials into creative fashion products in attractive designs.
This Summer Camp offered an excellent platform for beginners to develop their artistic abilities, enhance their confidence, and discover the exciting world of fashion design. Participants enthusiastically engaged in the activities and also appreciated the opportunity to learn industry-relevant skills in a supportive learning atmosphere.
Faculty members from the Department of Fashion Design mentored the students during the sessions, encouraging experimentation, creativity, and self-expression. The initiative was highly appreciated by the participants and reflected GGNIMT’s commitment to providing experiential learning opportunities that nurture creativity and skill development among young learners.
Director GGNIMT Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra hoped the participants would be inspired by the Summer Camp to pursue a career in the fashion arena as a designer, merchandiser or an entrepreneur. Principal GGNIMT Dr. Harpreet Singh appreciated the efforts of the GGNIMT Fashion Design department's team for organising this Summer Camp for the budding fashionistas.
