Faculty of Sharda University received a grant of Rs 83.11 lakh

Dr. Preeti Jain, Principal Investigator (PI) and Dr. Garima Chauhan, Co-PI, from Sharda University have been awarded a prestigious Government Grant of Rs 83.11 lakh for Extramural Research by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Dr. Preeti Jain stated “The goal of the research effort is to create and produce an oral medication to treat visceral leishmaniasis, a neglected tropical illness. It is a crucial area for the government and WHO. This project of India comes under the Discovery Research Division of ICMR.
