Rohtak, March 14, 2026: Under the guidance of Baba Mastnath University (BMU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. B.M. Yadav and HOD Mathematics (who also serves as the Registrar), Prof. Vinod Kumar, an extension lecture was organized by the Department of Mathematics. The lecture focused on the topic; "Inventory Management in Research with Applications of Artificial Intelligence." Organized under the aegis of the Physics Club and in collaboration with the IQAC, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, research scholars, and students.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Neeraj Kumar, a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur - said that in the modern era, the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) can render inventory management more effective and scientific. He elaborated extensively on the utility of AI in resolving problems related to inventory management within both research and industrial sectors.

Explaining the role of AI in advanced inventory optimization techniques, mathematical modeling methods, decision-making processes, and demand forecasting through simple illustrations, the keynote speaker highlighted that the implementation of AI-based inventory systems leads to increased operational efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality of research endeavors.

Prof. Naveen Kumar, Dean of Academic Affairs, encouraged young research scholars to seriously analyze the challenges associated with research and to approach their work with innovative ideas. Prof. Manoj Kumar, Dean of the Faculty of Science, remarked that such academic programs serve to familiarize students and research scholars with novel scientific techniques.

Present at the event were Prof. Sangeeta Malik (In-charge of the Physics Club), Organizing Secretary Prof. Kamal Kumar, Prof. Pooja Bhatia, Prof. Vinod Bhatia, along with other faculty members, research scholars, and students. Actively participating in the discussions, the students interacted with the speaker during the Q&A session to gain valuable insights pertinent to the subject matter.
