Exhibition ‘Libaas’ themed on ‘Karwa Chauth’ & ‘Navratras’ begins
Chandigarh, September 28, 2019: As Karwa Chauth and the festive season is around the corner, an exhibition Libaas - ‘Karwa Special’, which is themed on ‘Karwa Chauth’ and ‘Navratras’ has started at Himachal Bhawan, Sector 28 here. The three day exhibition which will be on from September 28 till September 30 is being organised by Royal Day Events- an organization run by the husband and wife duo - Yogesh & Pooja Chaudhary. There are over 60 exhibitors from across the country who are displaying their wares. Pooja Chaudhary, Director of Royal Day Events said, “We have organised this exhibition to make this ‘Karwa Chauth’ - a festival dedicated to the bond of love between husband & wife more memorable. The exhibition has exclusive items like ‘Karwa Chauth thali’, earthen lamps, dresses and a lot more. There are many exhibitors whom we have specially called to present décor items related to ‘Navratras’.” Yogesh Chaudhary added, “The exhibitors have come from across the country, with the latest and the most-trendy collections of traditional wear dedicated to the upcoming festival. We have tried to curate an exhibition which is a one-stop-shop for all of one’s lifestyle and festival needs. Apart from this we also have a good range of jewelry, Indo Western wear collections, apparels and home décor items.” The exhibition showcased exclusive designer dresses, floral Anarkali suits, sarees specially unveiled for all the ladies, who want to celebrate the upcoming festive season in style. The exhibition is also displaying colourful lehenga-cholis, back-cut designer suits, palazzos etc The exhibition witnessed a heavy footfall on its opening day. At the exhibition decorated pooja thalis, diya’s, colorful earthen lamps caught the attention of women, who found it a paradise to pick up items related to ‘Navratras’ and ‘Karwa Chauth’. Eye-catching ‘Karwa Chauth’ decorated kalash, chhanni and decorative cloth pieces to cover the ‘Karwa Chauth’ thalis were the main attractions for the visitors. The visitors are also being attracted to an array of gold & diamond jewellery items. Beautiful necklaces crafted with creativity and precision are being presented by the exhibitors. Jewellery items designed keeping in mind the festive fervour beckoned fashionistas. Women and young girls gathered at the stalls displaying exclusive karwa designer jewellery, ‘kundan’, ‘maang –tikkas’, ‘paasaas’ and beautifully designed traditional ‘kamarbandhs’. In the exhibition, visitors are spoilt for choice with a bevy of handbags and purses. To decorate your house, the exhibitors from Jodhpur are also showcasing home décor items. The exhibition will be held till September 30 from open 10 am to 8:30 pm at Himachal Bhawan, Sec 28, Chandigarh.
