Enthusiasm Among Women Soars at Sakhi Shakti Meeting

Khanna, November 4, 2026: A special message of women's respect, participation and empowerment was witnessed at the Sakhi Shakti meeting organised by the Aam Aadmi Party. On this occasion, Punjab Cabinet Minister and MLA from Khanna Assembly Constituency, Tarunpreet Singh Sond, attended the meeting along with his family and sat face-to-face with the Sakhis for an open interaction. He listened attentively to their views, suggestions and experiences.
The occasion was also graced by Minister Sond's father, Bhupinder Singh Sond; wife, Kamaljit Kaur Sond; brother, Ramanjit Singh Sond; and sister-in-law, Ajit Kaur Sond. The entire family interacted with the Sakhis in a warm and cordial atmosphere. The gathering went beyond a conventional political meeting and reflected a message of respect, trust and a sense of family belonging towards women.
During the meeting, the Sakhis shared their views and said that the Aam Aadmi Party is the first party to give women such respect, importance and a sense of belonging. They said that the presence of Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond and his family among them, sitting together and listening seriously to their concerns, was a matter of great honour and happiness for them.
Expressing their confidence before Cabinet Minister Sond, the Sakhis categorically stated that they would always stand firmly with the Aam Aadmi Party. They also pledged to play an active role in taking the party's policies and public welfare initiatives to every household.
During the interaction, Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond highlighted the importance of women's participation and their valuable suggestions.
