Elvish Yadav on his character Rajveer in Amazon MX Player’s Aukaat Ke Bahar
Says: “That tension between confidence and confusion felt very real to me”
Mumbai, December 18, 2025: Amazon MX Player, Amazon’s free streaming service, continues to explore the emotional complexities of youth, identity, and ambition with its campus drama Aukaat Ke Bahar. Set within the charged atmosphere of college life, the series brings together a compelling ensemble, headlined by Elvish Yadav, with stellar performances by Hetal Gada, Nikhil Vijay, Malhaar Rathod, and Keshav Sadhana in pivotal roles. At the centre of the narrative is Rajveer, a young man who appears confident and self-assured, yet is quietly wrestling with deep-seated insecurities beneath the surface.
Elvish Yadav, who essays the role of Rajveer, shares that it was the character’s internal conflict that resonated with him the most. He says, “What stayed with me was how Rajveer is constantly fighting his own insecurities, mostly in silence. He comes across as strong, but he’s still figuring himself out. That tension between confidence and confusion felt very real to me. There are moments where he breaks, moments where he holds on, and moments where he begins to grow. That inner journey is what connected with me the most.”
A defining aspect of Rajveer’s personality is his boxing background, which adds to his discipline and emotional armour. Speaking about preparing for those sequences, Elvish Yadav adds, “I trained specifically for the boxing portions, but it was never about looking muscular. It was about understanding the discipline of the sport, including the stance, breathwork, and aggression that come with it. I paid close attention to the posture, rhythm, and physicality so that it felt authentic and never forced on screen.”
Through Rajveer, Aukaat Ke Bahar captures the silent battles young men often fight where pride, vulnerability, and self-worth collide, making his journey both grounded and deeply relatable.
