Ludhiana, May 15, 2022: Three-day cultural festival ECTOPIA-2022 concluded yesterday with a glittering prize distribution ceremony at DMCH, Ludhiana.
 
The events started with “Turncoat Extempore” where Shubham Munjal came First and Uttamjot and Sumair shared the second position.
 
Another interesting event called “Hogathon” in which Ishaan of MBBS Batch 2021 was declared winner.
 
“Duet Singing” made the day melodious where students sung songs in harmony and also played instruments like Guitar and Keyboard showing their talents, not only as budding doctors but musicians as well.
 
This event was judged by musicians Ravinder Kaur and Zinnia Dhoday. Gurnoor and Yashan performed beautiful quawali which got them 1st position in this competition. Kirti and Shreeja of MBBS Batch 2020 got the second position and Aditya and Ashmeet of MBBS Batch 2020 got third position.
 
The evening started with ‘Duet Songs’ performances by participants, followed by Fashion Show, which is the hallmark of ECTOPIA function being held every year. 
 
In fashion show, the participants were dressed in sizzling outfits and walked down the ramp with rocking music in the background. Then, there was ‘Interbatch Bhangra’ which made the audience danced on their toes. Over all fashion show trophy gave to MBBS Batch 2019.Another interesting event called ‘Chance Pe Dance’ in which Mehak of MBBS Batch 2017 stood first.
 
Principal Dr Sandeep Puri along with other medical administrators and members of cultural committee gave prizes to the award winning students.
Secretary of DMCH Cultural Committee-Dr Dinesh Jain proposed a vote of thanks to all present on the occasion.

RESULTS:
Title of ‘Ms ECTOPIA’ was bagged by Navita Bansal of MBBS Batch 2017 and ‘Mr ECTOPIA’ was awarded to Divij Matta of MBBS batch 2020.
The dignitaries present on the occasion awarded Best Trophy award to MBBS batch 2017.
