Drama Katha raised issues like water crisis and honor killing

Bathinda, October 14, 2021: On the 14th day of the 15-day 10th National Theater Festival running by Natyam Bathinda in association with North Zone Cultural center Patiala, at Balwant Gargi Open Air Theater, the play 'Katha' written by Sudhanshu Firdaus was staged under the direction of Parveen Kumar Goonjan, a former student of National School of drama by Fact Art and Cultural Society from Begusarai, Bihar. Chairman of Natyam Dr. Kashish Gupta and Director Kirti Kripal said that through this play, the audience's attention was drawn to serious issues like Honor Killing and the water crisis.
Inderjit Singh Brar, Chairman of, Silver Oaks Group of Schools, and Dr. Vitul Kumar Gupta, a well-known doctor and social worker of the city lightened the lamp on the 14th evening of theater festival. Appreciating the efforts being made by Natyam to encourage art and theater, Indrajit Brar promised to organize such events in his organization and always giving cooperation. Ravinder Sharma, the Program Officer, and Sanjeev Shad, anchor from NZCC were also present during the event.
