The prestigious lecture is being organised by Panjab University, Chandigarh in association with Balramji Dass Tandon Charitable Foundation.

Chandigarh July 24, 2025: Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi will address the 4th Shri Balramji Dass Tandon Memorial Lecture on topic of “Why a Strong India Scares the World,” on July 27, at 12:00 noon at Panjab University Law Auditorium. The prestigious lecture is being organised by Panjab University, Chandigarh in association with Balramji Dass Tandon Charitable Foundation.
Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi, who is also the National Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be the Chief Guest, while, Shri Ashwani Sharma, MLA, Punjab, and Working President, BJP Punjab, will grace the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
The Balramji Dass Tandon Memorial Lecture Series was instituted by the foundation in association with PU to commemorate the life, values, and contributions of Shri Balramji Dass Tandon, a freedom fighter, veteran politician, and Governor of Chattisgarh, whose legacy continues to inspire generations. Vice-President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu; BJP National President and Union Minister Sh. J.P. Nadda and Defence Minister Sh. Rajnath Singh have earlier delivered memorial lectures in its three previous editions.
PU Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig and President of the Balramji Dass Tandon Charitable Foundation Shri Sanjay Tandon will also grace the occasion.
