Dr H.K. Kharbanda Honoured at ‘TEN X U – Never Stop Playing’ Event; Felicitated by Gurpreet Ghuggi
Senior homoeopath and health awareness advocate Dr H.K. Kharbanda was felicitated with a special honour during the ‘TEN X U – Never Stop Playing’ programme held at Amity University Punjab in recognition of his outstanding contributions to healthcare, social service and public health awareness. The award was presented by renowned Punjabi comedian and actor Gurpreet Ghuggi.
Chandigarh/Mohali, June 28, 2026: Senior homoeopath and health awareness advocate Dr H.K. Kharbanda was felicitated with a special honour during the ‘TEN X U – Never Stop Playing’ programme held at Amity University Punjab in recognition of his outstanding contributions to healthcare, social service and public health awareness. The award was presented by renowned Punjabi comedian and actor Gurpreet Ghuggi.
The felicitation ceremony was attended by Karthik Gurumurthy, CEO of TEN X U, and PMS Banga, former Vice President of the Punjab Cricket Association, who were present on the stage.
The event brought together more than 200 budding cricketers aged 10 to 17 years. Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, through a special video message, encouraged the young participants to remain committed to the game, maintain discipline, prioritise fitness and continuously strive for excellence.
Dr Kharbanda was specially honoured for his sustained efforts in promoting health awareness, encouraging preventive healthcare and inspiring young people to adopt a healthy lifestyle through various community initiatives.
Expressing his gratitude after receiving the honour, Dr Kharbanda thanked the organisers and emphasised that regular fitness, balanced nutrition and periodic health check-ups are as important as consistent practice for young athletes. He also urged the youth to actively contribute towards building a healthier India through greater awareness and healthy living.
