Dr Gurcharan Kaur Kochar and Manjit Rai to get ‘Kewal Vig Award-2022’

Jalandhar, November 26, 2022: Noted Punjabi Ghazal writer Dr Gurcharan Kaur Kochar will be honoured with Kewal Vig Award of the year 2022 for her dedicated, devoted and sincere contributions in painting vivid pictures of social concerns in her poetry as Best Poet and Manjit Rai (USA), who penned down four books, will be honoured as Best Writer, respectively.

In a press release, Jatinder Mohan Vig, Chairman of Kewal Vig Foundation said that Kewal Vig Memorial Award was instituted since 1994, in the memory of, Late Kewal Vig, Founder Editor of Punjabi Magazine ‘Janta Sansar’. On every death anniversary of Late Kewal Vig, these awards presented.

The presentation ceremony of this year will be held on 4th December, 2022 at Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall, Near BMC Chowk, Jalandhar at 11.00 AM.
