Says he wrote a total of 7 dramas on lockdown which are now in the hands of readers

Panchkula: The latest book of renowned Hindi novelist Dr. Ajay Sharma was released by the Director of Haryana Sahitya Akadami Dr. Chandra Trikha at his office premises in Panchkula. 

On this occasion, famous satirist Prem Vij and budding English novelist Parul Sharma were present. The norm of social distancing was followed religiously.   It is noteworthy that Dr Sharma has so far produced 18 books. Among these, there are a total of 12 novels and some have been a part of curriculum in prestigious universities of India such as Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar Punjabi University, Patiala says, Chandra Trikha, a famous literary figure. 

Prem Vij said Dr. Ajay has channelised his energy in this lockdown period towards creative pursuits. The present book has 7 nano dramas and the subject matter of all is quite powerful and unique. But, it is important to note that, these have the same vigour as that of full-fledged dramas.

Parul Sharma, said, this book has an appealing cover that catches the instant eye of a reader and leaves him to the speculation. This is a brave attempt and deserves all the applause.

Dr Sharma sums up by saying, before giving these dramas a book form, he posted some of them on Facebook and within a few hours, comments and likes flooded and he was motivated enough to publish them. Talking about his nano dramas, he experimented with a kind genre in prose literature that was marginalised. “I happened to write a total of 7 dramas on lockdown which are now in the hands of the readers”, he said.
