Doaba College Tourism & Hotel Management Students’ Industrial visit to Hotel Fortune Avenue 

Jalandhar, April 10, 2023: The Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, of the College organized Industrial visit for the students of BTHM-2nd year and Diploma in Food Production-1st year to get insight of the actual working environment of hotel industry at Hotel Fortune Avenue Jalandhar.

Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari congratulated the students and faculty members of THM department for organizing such type of visits and also told the students about opportunity to learn facility management, Administration and departmental operations aspects of various management practices of the Hotel Industry.

Narinder Kumar- Training Manager of Hotel Fortune Avenue conducted a training session about different operational areas of the hotel like Food Production, F&B Service, Front Office, Housekeeping etc. Prof. Komal Rani and LT. Harprit Singh along with Narinder Kumar were taken the students to the physical round of various outlets and areas of the Hotel i.e. Bakery, Restaurant, Kitchen, Banquet, Guest Room etc.
