Doaba College organises Cyclothon-Bicycle Rally

Jalandhar, April 13, 2022: Department of NSS, NCC and Health & Wellbeing Committee of Doaba College Jalandhar jointly organized a Cyclathon-2022 (bicycle rally) under Government of India programme entitled “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat”. A total of 50 members participated in the bicycle rally.

Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari encouraged the participants to get actively involved in all Nation building programmes. He also highlighted the role of such events in shaping the personalities of students. Prof. Sukhvinder (coordinator of the event) briefed the objective of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” to the participants that advocates national integration and unity in diversity.

The rally started at 6:00 AM from Doaba College Main Gate and reached company bagh via Kapurthalla chowk. At Company bagh, Prof. Suresh Mago and other teachers demonstrated various physical exercises to all the participants which can be helpful in maintaining good health. All the participants came back to college.
