DMCH felicitates its own Cabinet Minister

Ludhiana, August 6, 2025: While speaking at the felicitation ceremony of Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora at the DMC College campus on Tuesday evening, DMC&H Managing Society President Sunil Kant Munjal said they are absolutely delighted and proud that Sanjeev Arora, who is also Vice President of the DMCH Managing Society, stands out and shines in the field he has chosen. He congratulated Arora on assuming the post of Cabinet Minister for Industries & Commerce, Investment Promotion & NRI Affairs, Punjab.

Without making any political reference, Munjal added, “This may not be the field you originally came from, but you have always had a public persona.” He recalled that for as long as he could remember, Arora maintained excellent relationships with everyone and has a close-knit group of friends who stood by him through thick and thin. He added, “Arora has always extended a helping hand to others. I am not at all surprised when people say that we finally have a politician who is doing everything people expect.”

Munjal further stated that Arora has been tirelessly working for public welfare without seeking anything in return. “The biggest return actually comes from the fact that someone up above is watching,” he remarked.

Praising Arora’s approach, Munjal said, “It is always delightful to have conversations with him because he always brings actual data, facts, and figures. He never engages in baseless talk.”

He further said that the city of Ludhiana is proud of Arora. “I believe Punjab should take full advantage of Arora being a Cabinet Minister. He can lead not only the departments he has been assigned, but also help the government implement several challenging programmes through his capable leadership,” Munjal said.

He added, “We hope to continue benefiting from Arora’s counsel and are confident that the state will benefit from his leadership.”

In his address, Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora thanked everyone for their appreciation of his work so far. He congratulated all the awardees at the event and also Dr. G.S. Wander, Principal of DMC&H, whose book was released on the occasion.

Arora shared a few interesting experiences from his political journey. He said, “Everyone wants to change the system, but the system will only change when people change themselves.” He emphasized that honesty among individuals is the key to systemic transformation.

On the occasion, Arora was honored with memento by Sunil Kant Munjal and other dignitaries.

DMC&H Managing Society Secretary Bipin Gupta, Treasurer Mukesh Verma, Dr. G.S. Wander, Principal, DMC&H, Dr. Sandeep Kaushal, Dean Academics, and Dr. Bishav Mohan were also present on the occasion.
