Ludhiana, July 31, 2025: Dr. Pallavi Singh, a vitreoretinal specialist at DMC&H, performed a highly challenging emergency surgery to remove a 2-centimeter metallic pin lodged inside a patient's eye.
The delicate and technically demanding procedure required precision and expertise, given the risk to the patient’s vision and the location of the foreign object. Dr. Pallavi Singh and her team conducted the surgery with exceptional skill, ensuring a safe outcome for the patient.
