District Level Committee Ludhiana approves industrial incentives Under Industrial & Business Development Policies of the Government of Punjab

Ludhiana, September 14, 2026: The District Level Committee (DLC), Ludhiana, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Sh. Himanshu Jain, approved several cases of fiscal incentives for industrial units under the Industrial & Business Development Policies of the Government of Punjab.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain also reviewed pending applications relating to regulatory clearances and directed the concerned departments to expedite the approval process and ensure that clearances are granted within a time-bound manner. He emphasized that timely regulatory approvals are essential to facilitate new investments, promote industrial growth and strengthen the ease of doing business in Ludhiana district.
Among the key approvals, M/s Kumar Exports Industries Private Limited, Doraha, a new manufacturing unit involving an investment of approximately ₹717.74 crore, was granted 100% Electricity Duty exemption for seven years under IBDP-2017.
M/s Choudhary Steel Industries, Khanna, a new MSME manufacturing steel products, was approved for Electricity Duty exemption under IBDP-2022. M/s Aditya International, Ludhiana, a micro enterprise engaged in apparel and textile manufacturing, was approved Capital Subsidy of ₹27.19 lakh.
The Committee also approved Stamp Duty exemption of ₹ 37.50 lakh for M/s Ivana Forge Private Limited, Hambran, for its proposed ₹47.93-crore automotive and tractor parts manufacturing project under IBDP-2026.
Besides, the DLC approved Net SGST reimbursements for several eligible industrial units under IBDP-2017, including KHK Alloys Private Limited (₹ 59.28 lakh), Om Steel Industries (₹ 39.64 lakh), Indian Special Castings Private Limited (₹ 14.48 lakh), AAGAAZ (₹ 15.89 lakh), Punjland Beverages Private Limited (₹ 6.85 lakh) , DUA Plastic Industries (₹ 4.12 lakh) and Shree Radhe Steel Industries (₹ 4.50 lakh).
Maninder Singh, General Manager, District Industries Centre, Ludhiana, said that the Punjab Government is offering attractive industrial incentives, with benefits of up to 100% of eligible investment under its Industrial & Business Development Policies, depending upon the category, sector and eligibility of the enterprise. These incentives are aimed at promoting investment, strengthening MSMEs, generating employment and further improving the ease of doing business in Punjab.
