Dips players performed brilliantly in Punjab Khed mela and won 6 gold medals in athletics

Jalandhar, October 29, 2022: Students of DIPS Begowal won 6 gold medals while performing well in the zonal level competition of Punjab Khed mela being organized by the Punjab Government. 

Principal Pankaj Sharma said that athletics sports competitions were organized in Government Senior Secondary School, Khassan. In Under 17 category Discs Throw, Javelin Throw, Shotput, Under 19 Shotput, Long Jump, Relay Race students won first, in Under 17 and 19 400m Relay Race won second, in Under 17 Shotput won Third position. Now these students will participate in the next level competition.

Principal Pankaj Sharma while wishing the players and the staff motivated them to perform similarly in the upcoming competitions. MD Tarwinder Singh and CEO Monica Mandotra congratulated all the winning players and motivated them to perform like this always. They said that it is very important for the students to stay ahead in sports along with studies, the field is not only a place to play but also teaches many new things of life to the players. By learning from them, they can become a better person in life.
