'Dil Deewana Ho Gaya' Brings Back the Charm of 90s Romance 

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Bollywood has always had a special place for romantic films, and director Rajeev Shamlal Soni is now ready to captivate audiences with his upcoming romantic entertainer, 'Dil Deewana Ho Gaya'. The recently held promo and music launch event in Mumbai further heightened excitement for the film's release. The grand event was attended by the entire cast, producers, and music team, while the first glimpse of the film's songs won the hearts of the guests.

Produced under the Grandway Productions banner, the film marks the big-screen debut of popular television actress Kajal Chauhan. She is joined by newcomers Bhanuj Sood and Shubhkaran Bhopal, who are also making their Bollywood debuts. Backing three fresh faces is being seen as a bold and confident decision by producer Ishpaul Singh Chawla.

One of the film's most unique aspects is that the producer and director never met each other in person during the entire production process. Despite that, the film was completed on schedule through mutual trust and professional coordination, making it an unusual and inspiring filmmaking story.
According to director Rajeev Shamlal Soni, 'Dil Deewana Ho Gaya' is much more than a love story. It is an emotional journey that celebrates relationships and family values. The story revolves around a young man who falls deeply in love with a girl, but she is in love with someone else. Whom the heroine ultimately chooses forms the emotional core and suspense of the film. The director also believes that the film's music will remind audiences of the melodious romantic classics of the 1990s.
For Kajal Chauhan, the film represents a significant milestone in her career. She says that transitioning from television to films has been a challenging yet rewarding experience, and this project has given her the opportunity to prove herself on the big screen. Bhanuj Sood describes the film as the beginning of his dream journey in cinema, while Manali-based Shubhkaran Bhopal says shooting his debut film in his hometown made the experience even more memorable. The film has been shot across the picturesque locations of Mumbai and Manali, adding visual richness to the romantic narrative.
The supporting cast features experienced actors including Mushtaq Khan, Arun Bakshi, Raju Kher, Brij Gopal, Mehul Buch, Garima Agrawal, Anjali Gupta, and Divya Dwivedi in pivotal roles. Mushtaq Khan revealed that he plays a doctor in the film and described working with director Rajeev Shamlal Soni as a special experience because of their long-standing association.
Actor-singer Arun Bakshi praised producer Ishpaul Singh Chawla, saying that being from Ludhiana himself, he felt an instant personal connection with the producer and thoroughly enjoyed working with the entire team.

The film's music has been composed by Vishnu Narayan, while singers Pamela Jain and U.V. have lent their voices to its songs. Their presence at the music launch further increased anticipation among music lovers.

Distributed across India by Karan Bhatia of J.B. Pictures, 'Dil Deewana Ho Gaya' is scheduled to release in cinemas nationwide on 31 July 2026.
