Deputation meets Union Minister for State Som Parkash 

Jalandhar/Ferozepur: Loco Running Staff Association Ferozepur Division vice president Subash Dutta along with KC Bhimwal met Union Minister for State Som Parkash in Phagwara and demanded that the Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal must be urged upon to restore the suspended passenger trains running between Jalandhar-Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar-Phagwara-Nawanshahr, Garshankar, Mahilpur, Jaijo Doaba. Subash Dutta said that various passenger trains to various destinations have been restored. He added through this train most of the Kandi area will be covered. He also demanded to restore Hoshiarpur-Delhi Train. Subash Dutta said that Som Parkash told that he would look into the matter and try his best to get the suspended trains restored in public interest. It may be mentioned here that Som Parkash is representing Hoshiarpur parliamentary constituency.
