Jalandhar, March 2, 2026: Department of Music Instrument of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar held an extension lecture on “Cultivating Entrepreneurial Mindsets through Music”.
It was delivered by Dr. Rehmo, Assistant Professor, Department of Music, Punjabi University, Patiala. The lecture emphasized how music enhances creativity, critical thinking, discipline, and teamwork- essential qualities for entrepreneurial success. Dr. Rehmo explained that musical training builds resilience, risk-taking ability, and confidence, which help individuals navigate business challenges effectively.
The interactive session encouraged students to think beyond conventional career paths and explore entrepreneurship with a creative mindset. Students actively participated in discussions and gained valuable insights into combining artistic expression with leadership skills. Overall, the lecture was inspiring and thought-provoking, motivating students to cultivate originality, adaptability, and a proactive approach toward future opportunities.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Dr Pooja Prashar felicitated the department for holding an activity that nurture creativity as well as warrant entrepreneurial skills.
