Chandigarh, June 29, 2015: Department of Life Long Learning & Extension (DLLL&E), Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh organized Faculty Development Program for University and College Teachers on June 29.
PU, Department of Psychology Prof. (Emeritus) Jitendra Mohan while inaugurating the program expressed that people take difficult roads seeking fulfillment and happiness just because the others follows that does not mean they would get good results rather it
creating hurdles for themselves . Introduction of self knowledge and self learning concepts are the best tools for the fulfillment of the desired roads, he added.
PU, School of Communication Studies Prof. Archana R. Singh expressed that communication begins with listening and good listener is always a good speaker.
Stereo type framework is always a barrier for effective communication in teaching and learning.
PU, DLLL&E Chairperson Mrs. Renu Gandhi while welcoming the resource persons and chief guest expressed that the objectives of the program was to promote students learning by inspiring faculty to adopt new techniques, approaches and technologies and to help faculty to be good teachers, scholars, researchers and persons. 25 faculty members of the University and College attend the program.

The last date for submitting the admission form for admission to various courses has been extended to July 3 upto 5 PM, which was earlier June 29, due to non declaration of results of B.A. III & CET(P.G.). As already notified, the last date for submitting application form for LL.B. (3-year course) is July 6. The Vice-Chancellor has extended the last date of submission of admission form for
admission in LL.B. 3 years course session 2015-16 upto Monday, the July 6 by 5 PM.
