DCM Schools Celebrated World Earth Day with Enthusiasm and Awareness
World Earth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and awareness across all three branches of the DCM Group of Schools—DCM Presidency, DCM Presidency Elementary, and DCM YES School.
Ludhiana, April 22, 2026: World Earth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and awareness across all three branches of the DCM Group of Schools—DCM Presidency, DCM Presidency Elementary, and DCM YES School.
On this occasion, special assemblies were organized across all campuses to highlight the importance of Earth Day and the need for environmental conservation. Students from Grade I to IX actively participated in various activities. A plantation drive was also conducted in the school premises.
Rajni Kalra, Principal, DCM Presidency, shared that the day was marked by a series of activities including Earth Day-themed crafts, poem recitations, drawing competitions, and board decoration. Through their performances, students conveyed strong messages about saving the environment and emphasized the importance of conserving natural resources and protecting Mother Earth.
Meenu Chopra, Principal, DCM YES, stated that during the program, students collectively took a pledge to protect the environment and reduce the use of plastic in their daily lives. She added that such initiatives help in creating awareness among students and inspire them to become responsible citizens.
Ruben Chahal, Head Elementary, DCM Presidency Elementary Campus, expressed that it is extremely important to make young children aware of environmental issues through such engaging activities from an early age.
