DCM Ideate Fest 5.0 Culminates in a Spectacular Display of Young Entrepreneurial Talent
DCM YES hosted The Final round of Ideate Fest 5.0 which brought together 97 ideas from 10+ diverse schools across India involving participation from 200+ students. The event showcased an impressive array of creative and innovative projects, reflecting the spirit of entrepreneurial excellence that Ideate Fest aims to cultivate.
Ludhiana, January 18, 2026: DCM YES hosted The Final round of Ideate Fest 5.0 which brought together 97 ideas from 10+ diverse schools across India involving participation from 200+ students. The event showcased an impressive array of creative and innovative projects, reflecting the spirit of entrepreneurial excellence that Ideate Fest aims to cultivate.
The fest featured a Startup Exhibition, where student entrepreneurs and local startups presented prototypes and business concepts. Business pitching sessions were judged by industry leaders like Rama Kant, Director – EPIC; Abhilasha Saini, The Growth Partner at KIDSPRENEURSHIP; Nitin Jain, Co – Chair TiE Chandigarh; Sandeep Kapil, Director HTlogics and Charter Member of TiE Chd along with Abhishek Saini and Swati Panwar, Assistant Professor at Kurukshetra Univeristy.
IDEATE FEST 5.0 was proudly sponsored by Start Up Punjab, showcasing a commitment to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth. The sponsorship included substantial cash prizes to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of the young talents. The first position in both the senior and junior categories received a cash prize of Rs. 15,000, while the second position was awarded Rs. 10,000 and the third position received Rs. 5,000.
In the junior category, Team Cig Green and Eco Pantry from DCM YES emerged as winners, followed by Gesture Crafter from KVM, while Gaia Sentinel and Bio Fabric from DCMC and DCMA secured the subsequent positions. In the senior category, Team Kinetic Souls from Peace Public School clinched the first position. Team Atelier from DCM YES secured second place, while SkillVora and Ora Perfume Tablet Teams from DCM YES jointly bagged the third position.
Himanshu Jain, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana and Chief Guest of IDEATE FEST 3.0, expressed his delight at witnessing the remarkable creativity and originality showcased by the young participants. He lauded the children for their innovative ideas and confident thinking, calling them true problem-solvers of tomorrow. He further commended DCM YES for seamlessly hosting such a well-curated platform that encourages innovation, critical thinking and experiential learning among students.
Dr. Anirudh Gupta, CEO of DCM Group of Schools congratulated all participants for their brilliant showcase of talent and ideas, applauding the winners for their outstanding contributions and further added that DCM will continue to organize such competitions to boost young startups and children’s morale.
