DC Sachin Gupta visits MSME Technology Center
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta visited the MSME Technology Center situated in the local IMT, which is being run by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India; and reviewed the facilities and training courses available at the center. Various industry-based courses ranging from one month to four years are being conducted here. Youth who have studied up to Class 8 or above can apply for training at this center. After completion of training, the Technology Center provides full assistance in helping youth secure employment in different industries.
Rohtak, December 11, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta visited the MSME Technology Center situated in the local IMT, which is being run by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India; and reviewed the facilities and training courses available at the center. Various industry-based courses ranging from one month to four years are being conducted here. Youth who have studied up to Class 8 or above can apply for training at this center. After completion of training, the Technology Center provides full assistance in helping youth secure employment in different industries.
During the inspection, DC Sachin Gupta instructed the Senior Manager of the Center that youth, especially from rural areas, should be motivated to receive training at the Technology Center so they can acquire skills and gain employment. He said that the district administration aims to make unemployed youth financially empowered by providing them with training. According to the requirements of industries, the district administration will assist in training and helping youth secure jobs. The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises has designed the curriculum to match industrial needs.
Various courses ranging from one month to four years are conducted at the Technology Center run by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. These include; Advanced Diploma in Tool & Die Making (4 years), Diploma in Mechatronics (3 years), Assistant Operator – Conventional Machine (1200 hours) for Class 8 pass, Junior Technician – Tool & Die Maker (1200 hours), Junior Technician – Inspection & Quality Control (600 hours), Technician – CNC Machining (600 hours), Assistant Operator – CNC Turning (600 hours), CNC Programmer (600 hours), Junior Designer (600 hours), Senior Technician – Machine Maintenance & Automation (600 hours), Senior Technician – Mechatronics (600 hours), Junior Technician (Computer Hardware & Network, 390 hours), AutoCAD (96 hours), Advanced CAD (96 hours), CAD & CAM (300 hours), CAM (96 hours), CNG Programming (96 hours), CNC Machining (96 hours), Electrical CAD (96 hours), PLC Programming (96 hours) and Process Automation (300 hours).
Seats for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes are reserved as per Government of India rules, and tuition fees are waived for them. The Center also provides free training under government-sponsored programs such as Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Daksh, Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma, etc. Senior Manager Naresh Kumar Jain, Training Head R.K. Singh and other officials were present on the occasion.
