Rohtak, March 15, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta announced that, moving forward with the process of providing subsidies on tractors to farmers belonging to Scheduled Categories under the SC-89 scheme—operated by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Haryana—the physical verification of the tractors of selected farmers will be conducted on March 20, 2026.

This verification will take place at the local office of the Deputy Director of Agriculture (under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare), commencing at 11:00 AM.

DC Sachin Gupta further explained that, under this scheme, applications were invited from farmers belonging to Scheduled Categories for the year 2025-26. Following the completion of the application processing, eligible farmers have been selected. Now, the physical verification of the tractors purchased by these selected farmers will be carried out, after which further steps will be taken to disburse the prescribed subsidy amount to them.

He has urged the concerned farmers to appear at the office of the Deputy Director of Agriculture on the scheduled date and time, bringing along their tractors and necessary documents, so that the verification process may be completed in a timely manner.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the State Government's objective is to make farming more profitable for farmers belonging to Scheduled Categories by equipping them with modern agricultural machinery. Schemes such as the tractor subsidy provide convenience to small and marginal farmers in their agricultural operations and also assist them in enhancing their income.

He directed officials of the Agriculture Department to ensure that the verification process is conducted in a transparent and systematic manner, thereby enabling eligible farmers to receive the benefits of the scheme on time.
