Rohtak, January 9, 2026: Taking a firm stand on public grievance redressal, Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta today directed all departments to ensure immediate disposal of all pending and re-opened complaints received through Samadhan Shivir, Jan Samvad, CM Window, CPGRAMS and SMGT by this evening. Any delay or negligence in grievance disposal, he warned, will not be tolerated.
Chairing a high-level review meeting at the Mini Secretariat, Rohtak, after a virtual assessment conducted by the Samadhan Prakoshth, the Deputy Commissioner categorically said that departments failing to clear pendency will be summoned for a special review meeting on Saturday and accountability will be fixed.
DC Sachin Gupta emphasized that public grievance redressal is a top priority of the district administration. He directed officers to regularly monitor all grievance portals and ensure that responses are timely, fact-based, and citizen-centric, so that complaints are not re-opened. Special focus was laid on long-pending and re-opened cases, which must be resolved with due seriousness.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner informed that in one of the complaints reviewed, the district administration has already taken strict legal action, including registration of an FIR against an individual involved in temporary illegal encroachment, demonstrating zero tolerance towards violations.
Commending departments that have shown commendable performance, the Deputy Commissioner urged others to improve their disposal rate and quality of responses. He further instructed that while resolving complaints, officers must directly engage with the complainants, understand the ground realities, and strive for solutions that leave citizens satisfied.
Highlighting the government’s citizen-first approach, DC Sachin Gupta informed that Samadhan Shivirs are being organized every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the district and sub-division headquarters, with the objective of on-the-spot resolution of grievances under one roof. Officers from all concerned departments remain present in these camps to ensure swift and effective redressal.
Senior district officials, including the Additional Deputy Commissioner Narender Kumar, senior municipal, police, revenue, development, public health, and governance officers, were present during the review meeting.
