Reviewing the work of the Revenue Department at his camp office, Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that the Haryana government has decided to regularize (grant ownership rights to) residential houses up to 500 square yards built on Shamlat (Panchayat) land before March 31, 2004. He also directed that a case be prepared under the Maha Gram Yojana (Mega Village Scheme) for the utilization of government land in Madina village and sent to the headquarters.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner obtained reports from the concerned Tehsildars (revenue officers) regarding Tatima (a supplementary or remaining part of a main document, deed, or record, added at the end of the original document) cuttings and issued necessary instructions. He directed that a village-wise report be submitted indicating the number of pending Tatima cases in each village.
