DC directs revenue officials to ensure seamless facilitation of land registration work

Ludhiana, April 15, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney on Monday directed the officials of the revenue department to ensure prompt and effective delivery of the services to the people visiting them. 

Sawhney who conducted the surprise inspection in the offices of sub-registrar in Ludhiana East and Ludhiana West, urged the officials to facilitate the people in getting in their day-to-day works done easily without causing any inconvenience. 

The DC also asked them to start land registration work in the early morning to manage the rush of the people and facilitate them to maximum capacity. She also asked them to achieve the target of zero per cent pendency. 

The DC also inspected the fard Kendra and as system was running slow it was got fixed on the spot.

While interacting with the public, DC Sawhney took their feedback. 

During the inspection, she also checked the records besides talking with people who had visited the offices for their routine work and sought feedback about the performance. She also directed the provision of adequate drinking water and cooling in the offices for the public keeping in mind the heat wave warning.
