Jalandhar: PG Department of Mathematics of Doaba College Jalandhar organized DBT webinar on Introduction to MATLAB Software . Dr. Vipul Sharma - Department of Computer Science and Engineering,IKGPTU Amritsar Campus acted as resource person on the occasion.He was accorded a hearty welcome by Principal Dr Pardeep Bhandari , Prof Arvind Nanda ,Dr Rajiv Khosla, ,Prof Gulshan Sharma, faculty and 44 participants.
Principal Dr Pardeep Bhandari congratulated department of mathematics for entering the DBT Scheme and hoped that students and teachers will be immensely benefited by MATLAB software and its relevant applications.Vipul sharma discussed about the importance of MATLAB software in research community and elucidated that it is one of the most widely used computational tools in science and engineering and very helpful for students of Physics, Chemistry, Maths etc He demonstrated that MATLAB fuses computation, visualization, into its programming environment, and is excellent for quickly solving mathematical problems of Integration ,Fourier and Laplace Transformation ,plotting graphs etc,.
