Ludhiana, May 23, 2025: The 15 cadets of 3 PB (G) BN NCC, Ludhiana are undergoing drone training under expert supervision of NSTI professionals past 5 days. The cadets learned a lot about basics, maintenance, operation and handling of drones. This has led in their upskilling and technological advancement. The skillset gained gives them an upperhand in this era of Artificial Intelligence and Defense modernization.
The highlight of the training came on Day 5 (Thursday, 22nd May 2025), which was dedicated to live drone flying. Under expert supervision, cadets piloted drones in a controlled environment, translating their theoretical knowledge and simulator practice into real-world flying experience. This hands-on activity greatly boosted their confidence and operational competence.
The successful conduct of this module is being ensured under the participation and guidance of NSTI trainers, 2 ANO, 2 PI staff and 1 GCI. Their mentorship serve as role models, instilling discipline and technical expertise in safety protocols and maintenance of drones. The practical training sessions allowed cadets to gain real world experience in drone handling.
