Day-4: 26th All India J.P.Atray Memorial Cricket Tournament for Trident Cup

Mohali/Chandigarh, September 4, 2021: The match was played between Minerva Cricket Academy and MPCA at GMSSS Sector 26 Chandigarh. MPCA won the toss and decided to field first.  Minerva batting first were  197 for 7 in 37 overs before the rain stopped the play. Navneet Virk  (44) off 58 balls with 6 boundaries, Sharad Lumba (40) off 34 balls with 5 boundaries and one six were the main run getters for Minerva. Omkar Nath 2 for 43 and Adhirpartap Singh  2 for 31 were the main wicket takers for MPCA.
The revised target of 201 runs in 37 overs was given to MPCA (Through VJD Method).
Replying MPCA were bundled out on 200 in 37 overs and the match was tied.  Both teams shared 2 points each.
Harsh Gawli   40 off 53 balls with 3 boundaries and 2 sixes, Siddharth Pattidar 36 off 45 balls with one boundary and one six were the top run getters for MPCA.  Ramesh  4 for 32 and Soharab Dhaliwal 3 for 35 were the main wicket takers for Minerva Cricket Academy.
2nd match was played between PCA Colts and HPCA at Cricket Stadium Sector 16 Chandigarh.  PCA Colts won the toss and decided to field first.  After 12.3 overs the rain interrupt the match when HPCA were 42 for no loss before the rain came.  Due to rain the match was reduced to 30 overs each side.  HPCA scored  179 for 8 in 30 overs.  Prashant Chopra  71 off 68 balls inclusive of 5 boundaries and 3 sixes was the main scorer for HPCA.  For Punjab Rohit Gulati  4 for 43 was the main wicket taker.
Replying Punjab were 148 for 8 in allotted 30 overs and lost the match by 42 runs (VJD Method).  HPCA got 4 points while PCA Colts got zero.
Pukhraj Mann  31 with 4 boundaries and Ramandeep Singh 31 with 3 boundaries and one six were the main run getters for Punjab.  Ayush Jhamwal and Akash Vashisht scalped 3 wicket each for HPCA.
Trident Man of the Match was given to Ayush Jhamwal.
