Drone Training for 3 PB G BN NCC Cadets Underway

Ludhiana, May 22, 2025: A week-long drone training session (May 19–23, 2025) is currently being conducted for 15 cadets of 3 PB G BN NCC. The programme is organized at the National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), under the expert guidance of NSTI professionals.
Participants include cadets, trainers, 2 ANOs, 2 PI staff, and 1 GCI. The initiative reflects NCC's alignment with the national Skill Development mission, providing cadets with vital exposure to emerging technologies.
Today on the 3rd day of the module, the cadets were made aware about the simulator of drones, its importance and uses in operation and handling of drones.
Every cadet was made to practice flying of drones on the simulator. This will help them fly actual drones in the days ahead. They were educated about connection of Drone with Mission Planner.
They were taught about Camera Interfacing, LIDAR Interfacing and Arming/Disarming procedures regarding Drones. This will help in advancement of their technological skill which will help them in future endeavors.
