DAVIET won IKG PTU INTER Zonal Youth Festival

Jalandhar, December 5, 2022: DAVIET,  won the IKG PTU INTER Zonal Youth Festival which was organized on the University's main Campus. Team DAVIET won the individual trophies of Fine Arts, Literary Events, and Theatre and also the overall trophy to emerge victorious.  The win marked the establishment of DAVIET as a techno-cultural hub of the Institutions affiliated with IKGPTU Jalandhar. 

The main highlights were the events of Mimicry, Quiz, Group  Song Indian, Elocution, Debate, Poetry Writing, On Spot Painting, Collage Making, On Spot Photography, Skit, Classical Vocal Solo, Clay Modeling, Gidha, and Bhangra. Team DAVIET performed exceedingly well and lifted the overall trophy. Team DAVIET during the Prize Distribution ceremony rejoiced and celebrated their win amidst Traditional Punjabi Boliyan by the Gidha Team and loud cheering which was the expression of the hard work that the budding DAVIETians had put through the course of the semester to perform well. In the event of Gidha, Saloni from DAVIET was declared the Best Dancer.  

Dr. Sanjeev Naval, Officiating Principal DAVIET congratulated team DAVIET for winning the Inter zonal Youth Festival yet again. He shared with all present that DAVIET is committed to providing the students a platform to showcase their talent in a variety of events. He elaborated on the need for such Youth Festivals and shared that they go a long way in shaping the overall personality of the students. 

Jasdeep Johal, the Cultural Officer, congratulated all the winners and participants from the DAVIET contingent. She said that with this grand victory DAVIET  has established its superiority in the cultural arena over other professional colleges affiliated with IKG PTU Jalandhar. She also appreciated the hard work put in by all the event in charges and the trainers who made it possible for the students to perform so well.
