Curtin University, Australia delegation arrives at Panjab University
A delegation of 10 students and two faculty members from Curtin University, Perth, has arrived at Panjab University under the New Colombo Plan Mobility Program.
Chandigarh, January 8, 2026: A delegation of 10 students and two faculty members from Curtin University, Perth, has arrived at Panjab University under the New Colombo Plan Mobility Program.
The New Colombo Plan (NCP) Mobility Program provides funding to Australian universities to support undergraduate students in developing Indo-Pacific capability through academic and practical engagement.
The visiting international delegation will undertake internships and mentorships as part of a six-week, credit-bearing programme at Ankur School, Panjab University, under the Department of Education.
The delegation is led by Dr Rekha Kaul, Professor of Science Education, Discipline Lead in STEM and Deputy Head of the School of Education at Curtin University.
From Panjab University, the academic collaborators include Prof Jatinder Grover, Chairperson, Department of Education, and Prof Nandita Singh, former Dean, International Students.
