Jalandhar, April 24, 2026: CT World School has officially commenced CTMUN 2026, marking the start of an intensive three-day journey of diplomacy and intellectual discovery that runs from April 24 to April 26. The campus has transformed into a vibrant hub of discourse, welcoming an enthusiastic cohort of delegates from prominent institutions such as Cambridge Innovative School, Cambridge Coed International School, Apeejay Schools, and Delhi Public School, CT Public School, alongside a diverse group of international students from CT University. This gathering serves as a powerful confluence of perspectives, uniting young leaders to explore critical global and local issues over the course of the event.
The grand inauguration ceremony was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Aman Arora, Cabinet Minister of Punjab, alongside the Guest of Honor, Dr. Pooja Singh, Spokesperson for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) at the Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium, CT Group of institutions, Shahpur campus.
Their combined presence served as a profound inspiration to the young delegates, emphasizing the vital importance of informed dialogue and active civic participation in building a progressive society. The event was further enriched by the visionary leadership of the CT Group, including Chairman Charanjit Singh Channi, Co-Chairperson Smt. Parminder Kaur, Managing Director Dr. Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Joint Managing Director Tanika Channi, and Co-Vice Chairman Manjinder Kaur, whose collective dedication ensures that students receive exposure to experiences extending well beyond traditional academic boundaries.
Meticulously overseen by Principal Arti Jaswal, whose commitment to holistic education has been instrumental in organizing this large-scale simulation, the conference features an eclectic array of committees. Delegates are engaging in the United Nations General Assembly, the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, the Lok Sabha, the International Political League, a specialized Moot Court, the All India Financial Meet, the International Press, and creative Shark Tank and Marvel/DC councils.
A landmark innovation for this edition is the implementation of the Bench system—a first in Jalandhar—which is elevating the procedural authenticity of the debates. Throughout the event, students are participating in rigorous research, drafting detailed position papers, and negotiating with peers to form coalitions and produce collaborative resolution papers, standing as a testament to CT World School’s commitment to fostering articulate, globally conscious leaders.
