CTC Honours Legal and Tax Luminaries at Its Centenary Celebrations 

The Chamber of Tax Consultants (CTC), a premier professional organization dedicated to advancing taxation, accounting, legal and allied fields, organized a special Honorary Membership Conferment Ceremony as part of its centenary initiative, Shatabdi Manthan.

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): The Chamber of Tax Consultants (CTC), a premier professional organization dedicated to advancing taxation, accounting, legal and allied fields, organized a special Honorary Membership Conferment Ceremony as part of its centenary initiative, Shatabdi Manthan. Held to commemorate 100 years of excellence, the concluding event celebrated the outstanding achievements of distinguished professionals and highlighted their exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and significant contributions to the legal and professional community.
Among the eminent professionals honoured were Justice R.V. Easwar (Retd.), renowned jurist and former judge; Saurabh Soparkar, Senior Advocate; and Percy Pardiwala, Senior Advocate. Arvind Datar, Senior Advocate, accepted the honour virtually due to travel commitments. Their contributions to jurisprudence, constitutional law, taxation, and legal scholarship have significantly influenced India’s professional and judicial landscape.
Commenting on the occasion, CA Anish Thakkar, moderator of the session on the New Tax Code, said, “Shatabdi Manthan was not merely a commemorative event; it was an opportunity to reflect on the enduring values that have shaped the profession over the decades. Bringing together legal stalwarts and professional leaders fostered meaningful dialogue, reflection, and inspiration for the next generation.” The session also featured distinguished panellists including Senior Advocate Rafique Dada and Malati Sridharan (Former PCCIT), who shared several practical perspectives and solutions for implementing the proposed reforms.
