CT University’s School of Engineering and Technology holds 24-hour Hackathon

The School of Engineering & Technology, CT University organized Hackathon  to provide students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems faced in daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving.

Ludhiana, March 28, 2022: The School of Engineering & Technology, CT University organized Hackathon  to provide students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems faced in daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. 

More than 100 students participated in this 24 hour Hackathon event and they worked on solutions of problem statements related to Smart Automation, Smart Education, Block chain & Cyber security, Heritage & Culture and various other themes. Students pitched their solution/ideas in front of the experts and total 11 teams selected in different Problem Statements & student innovation categories. 

Director IT, Munish Kaushal said that this Hackathon was organized to harness creativity & expertise of students to  provide innovative solutions to India’s daunting problems. He also said that the selected teams will participate in Smart India Hackathon (SIH 2022) organized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. 

CTU Managing Director Dr. Manbir Singh and Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti appreciated the initiatives & efforts of team for conducting such events to promote innovation, out-of-the-box thinking in young minds.
