CT University’s NCC Wing organized NCC Selection Camp

Ludhiana, September 19, 2022: NCC Session and Selection was held in CT University Ludhiana by NCC wing.
The guests were welcomed by Dr. Pravin Sharma,Controller of Examination and Dean, School of Humanities and Physical education, CT University and Sarabpreet Singh, Registrar, CTU.

It was held by army officers, Subedaar Julmej Singh and Hawaldar Pushwinder Kumar OF 3 PB Battalion Ludhiana. CT university has conducted this selection process to uplift the sense of patriotic commitment to encourage cadets to contribute to national development, respect for diversities in religion, language, culture, ethnicity, life style and habitat to instill a sense of National unity and social cohesion, abiding commitment to learn and adhere to the norms and values enshrined in the Indian Constitution, understanding the value of a just and impartial exercise of authority and ability to participate in community development and other social programs.

This NCC selection process has been organized under the supervision of Ms. Nisha, NCC Coordinator, CTU with the support Of Dr. Pravin Sharma. The session was to guide that what is the aims of NCC by army officers and in this conversation they told the personal and professional benefits of NCC. After the session the selection has been started.

Selection was very interesting as it was included physical trail such as long jump, running, pushups and body check up. In the selection process total 108 students participated and 78 got selected. 

Dr Parvin said  that NCC is the necessity of today’s world to create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth which is to provide leadership in all walks of life and be always available for the service of the Nation.
