CT University Organizes Seminar on topic ‘How to Craft a 360 Degree Successful Career’

Ludhiana, November 29, 2022: The Professional Enhancement Cell, CT University organized a guest lecture on career counselling by Gagan Jolly Senior, Associate Consultant Infosys Ltd. Chandigarh. He spoke on the topic ‘How to Craft a 360 Degree Successful Career’ and shared the tips and tricks to get 100% results.

Anmol Lakhra, Area director Toastmasters International, Ludhiana and Head of Lakhra Industries along with Samrat Bedi who represented India at International Level Public Speaking Championship, also joined the event and motivated the students. The session was coordinated by Anshumala Sharma, Assistant Professor, Professional Enhancement cell, CTU. Ritu Bhalla , Assistant Professor , Professional Enhancement cell, CTU ; Roop Kawal , Assistant Professor (Verbal and French) , Professional Enhancement cell, CTU were present.

More than 150 students from different departments attended the session. Students were trained on public speaking, strategic leadership, self-confidence, industry Readiness and aptitude.  Moreover, Impromptu Speaking activity held in which a student named Violet Zimba of B.Sc. Airlines and Airport Management, School of Hotel Management, Airlines and Tourism won the Best Impromptu Speaker award and got Toastmasters badge. Information about Toastmasters International student club was shared by Gagan and he also addressed student’s queries in the end.

The session concluded with the vote of thanks given by Sudhashree Parvati, Deputy Director CRC and Head of Professional Enhancement cell.  She said ‘Identifying the goals, strengths and start working on weaknesses is the key to success. She added “One must take Success as a Journey Not a Destination.

Dr. Satish Kumar, Vice Chancellor (OFF.), CTU said ‘Career guidance plays a vital role in shaping the path of life. When it comes to career, we know that we are living in a very competitive era where one has to compete in every section of their life to obtain the ultimate goal. These type of sessions help students in overall growth.
