Ludhiana, April 11, 2022: The Department of Robotics and Automation, CT University organised a robotics Workshop for five schools of Bharti Foundation. The schools were Sr. Sec. School Jhaneri, Sr. Sec. School Sherpur Kalan, Sr. Sec. School Rauni, Satya Elementary School Khanpur Ludhiana East, Satya Elementary School Mohie, Ludhiana West with the total strength of 450 Students.

The main motive of the workshop was to give exposure to the students about the robotics and how they can use it to solve real life problem. The projects made by the robotics department were shown to all the school students and the working was examined using the online simulation.  The main attraction “Innovation on Wheels” was shown to the students and they interacted with all the projects in the bus. All the school students interacted with the Innovation Ambassadors to learn from them about their experience of preparing bus called Innovation on Wheels.
This workshop was organised with the help of Simardeep Singh, Assistant Manager Technology Implementation, Bharti Foundation and the arrangements were done by Satyam Gupta, Harshdepp Sandhu, Lottie Mukuka and Himanshu, Student Ambassadors of CT University under the supervision of Dr. Harmeet Singh, Deputy Director, ITR Cell.
Dr. Harmeet Singh, Deputy Director, ITR cell added,” The students must be aware about the new technology and innovations. Schools should be motivated to add the robotics in their curriculum.”
