CT Students display culture of eleven different states at United India Fest 2022

Jalandhar, October 7, 2022: CT Group of Institutions' south campus, shahpur organized United India Fest to celebrate the festive season and spread the message of oneness. This fest was organized to showcase unity and oneness among various states.

In this fest, students of different departments showcased 11 different  states namely Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Mizoram, West Bengal, and Sikkim and performed various dance performances at CT Shahpur campus

At one venue of the fest, students enjoyed typical dances and songs of different states; whereas, at other, they relished Indian regional cuisine. Special exhibitions included monuments, archaeological objects, architectural designs, wildlife, landscapes, geological supremacies, antique acquirements, cultural and allied art, and other dominances of different states of India. Displays about popular women leaders, patriots, saints, sports women, and their world-renowned ideologies added luster to the celebration.

Students from Kerala presented a special form of dance popularly known as Thirvathirakali, Gujarati students presented Somnath temple, Akshar Dham temple, and statue of unity whereas students from Himachal presented Rath Yatra, etc. The first prize goes to Punjab, Sikkim got second place and Himachal Pardesh got the third position.

Awarding the participating Department Dr.Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group said, “This fest teaches us emphatically what oneness, friendship, peaceful existence, and bonds of togetherness are to exist peacefully in this world. This all can be well understood by working closely and together. I am happy to note that faculty members and students worked together day and night to present the diverse and enriched culture of different states of India.”
